Fr. Kyle O'Connor is originally from the Roanoke area. He grew up attending Our Lady of Nazareth and St. Andrew's. While studying at William & Mary, he started to get the call to the priesthood. Nathan Korner

CCM Student President

Junior 2026-2027

Nathan Korner is the CCM President. He is from New Jersey where he started encountering the Lord in high school, but he didn't start becoming seriously involved in his faith until he sought out the CCM community at Roanoke College. Once he got involved, he quickly started serving and grew in his faith through the community.

Nathan studied abroad in Germany during the fall 2025 semester. He was able to visit Rome where he attended an audience with Pope Leo, visited the major basilicas, and prayed evening prayer with the Richmond Diocese seminarians at the Pontifical North American College. He also made many pilgrimages across Germany, Austria, and Ireland.

Favorite thing about being Catholic: "My favorite part about being Catholic is the faith and community that comes with it. Even when I am at my lowest, I always have a Father and a community that I can confide in."

Favorite saint: "St. Thomas (My Confirmation saint!)"

Hobbies: "Learning languages, music, equestrian, baseball, and badminton."

Nathan is who you want to reach out to if you want to subscribe to our weekly email newsletter, which he sends out every Wednesday.
