HISTORY

Catholic Campus Ministry has been active at Roanoke College since 1982. We have been blessed during that time to work with the college in providing for the spiritual needs of Catholic students through the Sacraments, Mass, prayer, events, ecumenical outreach, and service to the poor.

Community

The Lord calls His disciples to community with one another in the Mystical Body. At CCM, we seek to foster fellowship and deeper relationships grounded in Christ as Catholics, with fellow Christians, and with others. There are opportunities each semester for spiritual activities, fun events, retreats, conferences, potlucks, and speakers.

Mission

Roanoke College Catholic Campus Ministry seeks to foster and nurture the life of discipleship in Christ in union with the teachings of the Catholic Church. We help students draw into deeper intimacy with the Lord through the Sacraments, Mass, prayer, fellowship, and service to those in need. Living our baptismal promises means seeking Him as the center of our lives and then taking the love we have received from Him to others.
